Shopify Spring '26 Editions: The Most Important Updates Your Store Should Know About

Shopify Spring '26 Editions: svarbiausi atnaujinimai, kuriuos verta žinoti jūsų parduotuvei

Every few months, Shopify releases an Editions - a major update package that introduces the platform's most significant changes all at once. Spring '26 Editions on June 17 brought over 150 new features, from everyday improvements to core functionality. Some we've covered in dedicated articles. Here's the rest of what's worth knowing.

Different Prices for Every Sales Channel

One of the biggest Spring '26 additions - channel-based pricing. You can now set different prices, different availability, and different currencies for each sales channel separately: website, B2B catalog, POS, social commerce.

In practice: you can have a retail price on your website, a wholesale price in the B2B catalog, and a separate price at your physical location - all managed from one place, without workarounds.

The Store Editor Now Works on Mobile

Shopify's Online Store Editor now works fully on mobile devices. Where editing from a phone was previously limited, the canvas now stays visible and touch controls allow full content management. Small changes - text, images, promotional banners - can now be made without a computer.

Theme A/B Testing with Rollouts

The Rollouts feature lets you launch a theme or configuration change gradually - or test two versions simultaneously. For example, a new checkout design is shown to 10% of visitors first, conversion rates are monitored, and then it's rolled out to everyone.

This is especially useful before major sales or peak season: changes are tested with real data, not guesswork. Available via Online Store - Themes - Rollouts.

New Chart Types in Analytics

Shopify Analytics gained several new visualisation types: bubble and sunburst charts let you compare multiple metrics and their breakdowns simultaneously, while scatter and radar charts help analyse relationships between different metric dimensions. Each type is suited to different data comparison questions - it's not just aesthetics.

Abandoned Checkouts Now Show Only Real Shoppers

Until now, the abandoned checkout list filled up with bot-generated entries, distorting real data. Spring '26 Editions introduces automatic bot filtering - only real shoppers remain in the list. This improves both the accuracy of statistics and the effectiveness of remarketing campaigns: you stop wasting budget on non-existent buyers.

Ship and Pickup in One Order (Plus)

Plus and Enterprise plan users can now offer shoppers the option to have some items shipped and pick up others in-store, all within a single order. This was a common need for omnichannel businesses and until now required separate workarounds.

Address Validation at Checkout

Checkout Blocks now supports real-time address validation - incomplete or invalid addresses are flagged before the order is confirmed. This reduces failed deliveries and the manual work that comes with problematic orders.

What Else Came from Spring '26

This article doesn't cover the Spring '26 updates we've published separately: WhatsApp marketing, EU right of withdrawal, and discount stacking - each has its own dedicated guide.
