EcomExpo 2026 in Vilnius: Agentic Commerce, Shopify and the BBOLD Booth

EcomExpo 2026 - Baltijos e-komercijos konferencija Vilniuje

On October 1, the Samsung Conference Center at Tech Zity in Vilnius hosts EcomExpo 2026 - the fourteenth edition of the largest e-commerce conference in the Baltics. The organisers expect 600-800 attendees from Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia: e-shop owners, marketing leaders, technology partners and executive teams.

This year BBOLD takes part as a Scale partner - we will have our own booth in the expo hall. So this post has two parts: why this year's theme deserves the attention of any Shopify store owner, and how to get the most out of the day in practice.

"SCALE or FAIL": why agentic commerce

The slogan sounds harsh, but the topic behind it is very concrete - agentic commerce. It describes a world where the one searching, comparing and increasingly buying on the customer's behalf is not a person in a browser but an AI agent: ChatGPT, Google's AI mode or another assistant. Product discovery, selection and even logistics move into the chat window.

For Shopify stores this is not a distant future. Shopify already offers Agentic Storefronts, the Agentic plan and the open Universal Commerce Protocol - we covered them in our article on the Shopify Agentic Plan and UCP. In other words, the infrastructure on the platform side is ready. The question EcomExpo puts to the whole market is a different one: are your product data, pricing and processes ready for an agent to find you and sell for you?

What a Shopify store should mark in the agenda

The programme runs across three stages plus a separate workshop area, so one person cannot cover everything. If your business runs on Shopify, here is the priority list we suggest.

1. AI agent implementation mistakes

Several talks focus not on how to deploy AI but on what went wrong: Site.pro on ten expensive AI implementation mistakes, VisualLabs on 17 "dead" agents and what they taught them. Sessions like these are usually worth more than success stories, because they help you avoid paying for the same lessons in your own store.

2. Marketplaces and cross-border

Pigu.lt (PHH Group) will talk about speed as a competitive advantage, eBay about cross-border selling and marketplace ecosystems, and Asendia about how brands avoid the "margin trap" when expanding abroad. If you are planning Shopify Markets or sales in Latvia and Estonia, this is where you will find the numbers to check before launch.

3. Hands-on workshops

The workshop stage covers Google Shopping optimisation, email automation, AI agent implementation and e-commerce technical foundations. These are topics you can apply in a Shopify store the following week, without major investment.

4. EcomExpo Awards

For the first time, the conference will present the EcomExpo Awards in ten categories. Worth watching not for the ceremony but for the nominees: it is the fastest way to see in one hour what currently counts as the standard in the Baltic market.

How to make the day count

  • Come with one question. Not "how do we apply AI" but something specific: "why does our product feed not show up in AI search" or "how do we fix B2B pricing in Shopify". With a specific question, you leave every conversation with an answer.
  • Use the B2B matchmaking. The conference runs a meeting system - register in advance and plan 3-4 conversations with the suppliers or partners you are looking for.
  • Pick one stage for half a day. Running between stages loses more than it gains. The Deep Dive stage is for strategy, the Experience stage for concrete cases.
  • Stop by our booth. At the BBOLD booth you can have your store reviewed live: we will check whether it is ready for agentic commerce and tell you what to fix first.
Agentic commerce is not another channel you "switch on". It is a test of whether your product data is clean enough to be understood by more than just a human.

Tickets and practical information

The conference runs on October 1 from 9:00 to 18:00. A ticket gives access to all three stages, the expo hall, workshops, networking events and the awards ceremony. The regular ticket price is valid until September 27, after which the late bird rate applies, and groups of four or more get a discount. The full agenda, speaker list and registration are on the ecomexpo.eu website.

If you already know you will be at the conference and want to book a specific time to talk about your Shopify store, get in touch in advance - we will reserve a slot at the booth. See you on October 1.
